Meet Michael Walters, Encore’s Newest Solutions Consultant

Michael joins our team with 15+ years of experience in audio and visual engineering, having worked on projects for national TV, radio, studio recording, the NBA, and high-end live corporate events. Before coming to Encore, he was the National Technical Director for a mid-size audio/visual company based in Charlotte. Michael’s affinity for technology comes from his educational background in audio engineering, which allows him to blend his interest in electronics with creativity and problem-solving. Over his career, he’s earned A1, V1, & L1 projectionist and rigger credentials, which encompass audio, visual, light, projection, and chain hoist rigging and plotting, as well as 3-phase power disconnects and distribution. His work has taken him to some interesting places; he’s operated sound systems for George Clinton, Trey Songz, Sister Hazel, and Rick Ross among many others. We’re excited Michael has joined the Encore family and added his unique skill set to our portfolio to tackle bigger, more complex AV projects in the coming year!
